A clinical pharmacist is available 24 hours a day (by pager) for patients enrolled with the clinic.

Physicians

We are a small group who care deeply about you, our patient. We specialize in the management of Coumadin (warfarin). The clinic is run by our licensed Pharmacist and is overseen by Lourdes Medical Director. We have your best interest at heart and in the true spirit of Lourdes services: “We treat people not patients.”

Our specialized pharmacy staff, along with your doctor, will work closely with you to monitor your Coumadin® (warfarin).

Safe and Simple

We at Lourdes strive to make you comfortable. We believe if you know what to expect, you will be more at ease.

Here is an example of what happens at the clinic:

Your blood will be tested (with a simple finger-stick). We’ll check its ability to clot by checking your International Normalized Ratio (INR)
Your most recent clinical recommendations, your INR reading, dietary or lifestyle changes, recent illnesses, drug interactions, etc. will be reviewed. Your Coumadin (warfarin) therapy will be adjusted if needed.
We will maintain a close relationship with your referring physician so that they have a record of your Coumadin (warfarin) therapy
We are here to answer your questions and provide on-going diet, lifestyle education and other important information to assist you while on Coumadin (warfarin)
