The Heritage Wall was dedicated at Lourdes Medical Center in anticipation of their 100th anniversary!
In 2007, just after Lourdes 90th Birthday, a small group of dedicated Lourdes associates gathered to prepare for Lourdes 100th Anniversary Heritage Wall. With their love of Lourdes history, much work, research and talent, along with Desautel Hege’s vision and expertise, this dream has become a reality.
If you haven’t yet, please come visit Lourdes Medical Center to view our Heritage Wall, entitled A Century of Caring. It is located beyond the lobby, just past the main elevators.
Thank you to all involved, including those from the beginning of the planning stage: Sister Esther Polacci, Sister Margaret Polacci, Sister Mary Williams, Lourdes Facilities staff, Trish Brown-Jones, Connie Gillispie, Melanie Johnston, Kathryn Jones, Patrick Jones, Lisa Knuter-Peach, Teen Koch, Loretta Ortega, Michelle Tymecki, Jared Bates, Ashley Roberts and Kaury Balcom.
Lourdes is grateful to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet whose generous donation helped make this wall a reality. A generous gift was also received from Johanna Patricia Roach, one of the first babies born at Lourdes.
On Tuesday, July 21st, the Dedication of the Heritage Wall was well attended, and all who see the wall have been pleased with the outcome.
